Kid-friendly fun can be found at Storybook Land, a local, 20-acre theme park that features classic storybook personalities.
Residents take advantage of the outdoors here as well, including the Atlantic County Bikeway trail, which runs along a stretch of abandoned rail lines. Additionally, areas around Egg Harbor, New Jersey, are part of the expansive New Jersey Pinelands National Reserve, and locals can explore this unique ecosystem that contains pine barrens, wetlands, bucolic berry farms, and picturesque historic villages.

Additionally, buses run from Egg Harbor to points of interest along the South Jersey Shore, including Atlantic City, Ocean City, and Hamilton Mall. Residents with cars enjoy easy access to two major throughways: the Atlantic City Expressway and the Garden State Parkway.
